All my life and long before that, the site of the old water tower in town signified we were getting close to home. As other communities put up more modern towers, Continental’s remained the same. The time has come for Continental to update their water supply system and the new tower on the west side of town will soon be in operation. Discussion during the March 22nd council meeting was that the old tower behind the town hall would be coming down in a couple of weeks. I wanted to get a few photos to remember the old tower and I hope you will too!

Any idea when the old tower was constructed ? If someone would create refrigerator magnets of the old tower , I would buy a few for me and CHS friends.
