The Bronc Busters kicked off the 2020 4-H year with an Organizational Meeting on Sunday January 5, 2020 at 2pm at the St. John’s the Baptist Catholic Church in Continental. Advisor Kelly passed out enrollment forms and family guides to all members present. Kelly also reviewed the club constitution and gave all families a copy and asked that everyone take it home and read it and return the signature sheet to the next meeting.
If anyone is still interested in joining 4-H, they are encouraged to attend the next meeting which is scheduled for Sunday January 19, 2020 at 2pm at the St. John’s Catholic Church in Continental. Bronc Busters hold indoor meetings twice a month from January thru April; then hold horse clinics twice a week from April to June with two dates per month designated as meetings for non-horse youth during that time. Bronc Busters members take a wide variety of projects such as Woodworking, Swine, Poultry, Goats, Cake Decorating, Entomology, Club Leadership, & Horses. Several of our members qualified to exhibit their projects at the 2019 Ohio State Fair!
Youth in 3rd grade thru 12th grades can enroll and take a project to the Putnam County Fair. Youth in K – 2nd grade can enroll in the Cloverbud Program. Enrollment deadline for the year have been moved up to March 1, 2020. Any youth interested in joining 4-H should plan on attending this meeting with a parent to complete forms.
