The regular meeting for the Continental School Board was held at 6:00 pm on March 15, 2023 in the administrative
office. The meeting was called to order by Board President Dean Bidlack, who opened the meeting with the Pledge of
Allegiance.
Hearing of the Public:
The following Students of the Month were in attendance with their families and recognized:
Jay Shaffer, Grade 2; Wesley Huff, Grade 6; and Aleya Lacock (not in attendance), Grade 12.

activities next week.

Mr. Tim Eding, JH/HS Principal, reported:

from the ESC about teaching standards and depth of knowledge in their subject areas, Amy Sealts from the
Putnam County CIC presented information about Educator Bootcamp and other career/workforce
development opportunities for our students, the Math teachers continued some work on curriculum and
alignment, and the entire JH/HS Staff spent time breaking down the graduation requirements and seals.
•Friday is the end of the 3rd quarter. Report cards will be published to ParentAccess accounts in
ProgressBook next week.
•The JH/HS Staff has planned a “Continental Career Day” for our students on the afternoon of Friday,
March 24th. The idea behind the program is to bring in CHS Alumni working in different career fields and
to allow our current students to hear presentations and ask questions about what they do and how they got
to where they are. The staff has worked hard to find individuals across the 16 different career pathways to
allow students a wide variety of opportunities.
