Division assignments were announced late last week by the OHSAA for Girls Basketball. Continental will continue to play in Division IV as will the rest of the Putnam County League teams. The largest adjusted enrollment number for Division IV is 114 for New Middleton Springfield and Loudonville. Both those school played in Division III last year. Ironton St Joseph Central is the smallest school in Girls basketball with an adjusted enrollment number of 13. Adjusted enrollment is the number of students enrolled plus a competitive balance factor.
Ottoville is the smallest school in the PCL with an adjusted enrollment figure of 42 while Fort Jennings has 1 fewer student but 2 as a completive balance adder for an adjusted enrollment figure of 43. Continental has an adjusted enrollment number of 52 while Miller City is at 55, Pandora Gilboa 64, Kalida 66, Leipsic 71, and Columbus Grove 108. Ottawa Glandorf will be in DIII with an adjusted enrollment number of 177 (the largest school in DIII has an adjusted enrollment of 193).
