This past Sunday, a large group of Cub Scouts and Boys Scouts from the Ottoville area delivered a generous trailer full of needed items for the Continental Helping Hands Food Panty. The Scouts, as part of their Scouting for Food effort, combines collections from Ottoville High School Honor Society, Ottoville Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Ottoville community. The Scouts make a chain to unload the trailer into the food pantry in the basement of Continental United Methodist Church. It took about 30 minutes to unload the van. The Scouts were then given a tour of the food pantry along with an explanation of what happens next to the food delivered (it is sorted into food groups for distribution later). Continental High Honor Society also provided help in unloading the trailer.
