Musketeers Over Pirates in PCL Baseball

On Tuesday Continental Pirate Konnor Knipp Williams broke up a perfect game by visiting Fort Jennings when he singled with 2 outs in the bottom of the fifth.  The Musketeers took the early lead by scoring a pair of runs in the top of the first.  The Musketeers took control of the game in the third when they plated 6 runs to take a 8-0 lead.  The Musketeers took a 10 run lead in the top of the fifth.  Musketeers 10-0 final.
Hunter Rue started for the Pirates and took the loss when he pitched 2 innings and gave up 6 earned runs.  Rue gave up 3 hits and struck out 3 Musketeers.  Sam Newsome pitched the final 3 innings and gave up 4 runs (0 earned) on 4 hits while getting 3 musketeers to strike out.
Continental falls to 0-11 (0-6 PCL) and will host Delphos Jefferson on Friday.  Fort Jennings improve to 6-8 (3-3 PCL).
