
A great race by the Continental High Girls 4×100 relay team put the Pirates on the scoreboard at the 20 team 44th Diller Invitational. In an atmosphere that will be similar to the OHSAA Division III Ayersville Track and Field District the Pirates placed in one event. Rhaegan Marshall led off the Pirates relay with Jensen Prowant being the #2 runner, Alli Scott was the third runner and Destiny Pier anchored the team. The Pirates took 6th with a time of 55.61.
In the team standings Continental Girls placed 15th with 3 points. Liberty Center was 1st in the Girls portion with 143 points while Minister was second with 124.5 points. On the boys side, the Pirates did not place in the top 8 in any event. Columbus Grove ran away with the title scoring 137 points while runner up Minister had 78 points.
The next Pirates track meet is on Tuesday at Ayersville. This is a tri meet.
