Pirates Day 1 Results at Regional Track Meet

Mayes 12th, Etter 14th at Port Clinton OHSAA Division III Track and Field Regionals
With storms projected to move in the OHSAA Division III Track and Field Port Clinton Regionals day 1 was held on Wednesday.  Continental High was represented with a pair of boys participants, Jonathon Etter and Elijah Mayes.  Etter, a sophomore, qualified for the Pole Vault out of the Ayersville Regionals.  Etter jumped 11’0″ at the Regional meet good for 14th place.  Mayes, a senior, qualified to run in the 400 Meters out of the Ayersville Regionals.  Etter ran a 54.48 in the Regional prelim which was good for 12th place.
Continental will have 2 participants in the Port Clinton Regionals Day 2 as Byrn Tegenkamp will run in the Girls 800 Meter Finals and Rhaegan Marshall will jump in the Girls Long Jump.  Port Clinton Regional Day 2 is on Friday.
