In recognition of National First Responders Day, on Sunday, October 27 at 2pm in the Ottawa-Glandorf High School Gymnasium, the churches of Putnam County, across all denominational lines will come together for a special “Blessing of the Badgees” in honor of their dedicated service to our community. All First Responders, departments and their families are invited as the Guests of Honor to be recognized for their selfless service and to receive the prayers and blessings of a grateful community. There are times set aside to remember the fallen, but on this day we have chosen to honor our everyday heroes serving our communities. Please allow us the opportunity to express our respect, our appreciation and our heart-felt gratitude for all that you do for this community while allowing the pastors, priests, and ministers from across Putnam County to pray for your protection and for blessing upon your homes and families.
This day is truly for you and we pray that you will make your plans to attend whether in uniform or not.
