Samuel Gilbert Stork Jr., age 65 of Liberty Center, Ohio, passed away on March 10, 2022, at ProMedica Ebeid Hospice Center in Sylvania, Ohio.
Sam was born on July 13, 1956, to Iris (Boggs) and Samuel Stork Sr. in Defiance, Ohio. Sam was a 1974 graduate of Continental High School. On September 19,1986 he married Nancy (Musshel) Stork, who preceded him in death on March 6, 2011.
Sam worked for many years with Miller Brothers Construction until his retirement. After his retirement he enjoyed taking walks with his dog and tinkering with his motorcycles. He also enjoyed working on cars and building things with his grandsons. Sam was a member of Sons of American Legion, Sons Of AMVETS, Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Loyal Order of Moose.
Sam will be sadly missed by his loving daughter Jaime (Randy) Thomas of Ottawa, OH, three grandchildren; Saige, Owen and Seth Thomas and his siblings; Diana Stork of Napoleon, OH, Gymme Salay, Blaine Stork and Doug Stork, all of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Nancy and his brother Daniel Stork.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 6-8 pm at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A private Memorial will be held later for the immediate family.
