With Three League leaders and a possible fourth it was interesting to see how the bracket placement unfolded. #1 seed Blanchard Valley Conference McComb choose to play in a sectional semifinal. Seeds #2 Leipsic (Putnam County Champ), #3 Hardin Northern (still in the running for Northwest Central Conference title), and #4 Ada (NorthWest Conference Leader) all choose to move to the bracket opposite McComb. Leipsic, Hardin Northern, and #8 seed Continental elected to take sectional semifinal byes.
