The 2018 Pirate Softball season will open at home on Tuesday against Cory Rawson. The team will feature 7 returning letter winners with 5 of those earning all Putnam County League honors in 2017. Pitcher Amber Logan and Catcher Kennedy Hiltner will take the field having been named First Team All League last year. Shortstop Jessica Stauffer and Utility player Mackenzie Rayle return after earning Second Team All League honors. Second baseman Riley Fenter was named All League Honorable Mention. Addyson Armey and Madi Sharp are the other returning letter winners.
Last year Continental was 8-12 overall and third in the Putnam County League with a 3-2 league record. The 2017 Pirates advanced to the District Semifinals where they were eliminated by Antwerp 6-1. The Pirates are coached by Jordan Streicher. Leva Weller is the Assistant Coach.
