The Continental High School Volleyball season ended in a Sectional Final game at Columbus Grove. The Ottawa Glandorf Division IV game matched the Pirates with the #2 seed, Putnam County League Runnerup and Northwest Conference co-Champ Bulldogs. Columbus Grove lost in the District Semifinals to Lima Central Catholic 3-1. PCL Champ and Blanchard Valley Conference runner-up Leipsic advanced out of the Ottawa Glandorf District. The Ottawa Glandorf #1 seed Vikings advanced to the Elida Regionals where they were taken out by Tiffin Calvert. Tiffin Calvert will be playing in the Division IV State Championship game against New Bremen. Also playing in the Elida Regional was Pirate neighbor Ayersville.
One team on the Pirates schedule advanced to the Division III State Tournament. The Rams defeated the Pirates early September with the Pirates not taking a game. This was the routine for the Rams as they mowed through their regular season losing only 1 game to Stryker while sweeping everyone else. The Rams did not lose a game till the Regional finals where Liberty Benton took them to 4 games. The Rams tournament trail ended in the State Semifinals as Independence took the win in a sweep.
The Pirates and Rams were both in the Archbold Spiketacular with Tinora bringing home the crown.
Continental finished the season at 5-18.
