The 2019 Continental High Boys Soccer season starts out on the road as the Pirates attempt to improve on a 2018 9-8-2 record that included a OHSAA Division IV Kalida District Sectional Championship. The season kicks off with the Pirates in the Bath Kickoff Classic on August 20 and 22. Lima Bath, Lima Central Catholic, and Paulding complete the field for the Classic. Last year Bath defeated the Pirates 1-0 in the Championship game. The Pirates then have the next 4 games on the road including games against Putnam County League rival Miller City and Fort Jennings. The Pirates home opener is against Ottoville on Monday September 9. Ottoville is the defending PCL Champion. The Pirates conclude their PCL season on September 20 (Fall Fest) when they host Kalida. Kalida was a Regional Qualifier last year. October 8 has the Pirates finishing up the regular season at home against Pettisville in the Senior Night game.
A game to attend, the Pirates will host OHSAA 2018 Division III State Champion Archbold on October 1.
