In 2019, Continental High School baseball team was 7-13 overall and 2-5 in the Putnam county League. In 2020 there was no season so third year coach Ben Warnecke has his work cut out for him as the prepares the Pirates for the 2021 season. The Pirates welcome back 4 letter winners, Seniors Blake Elkins and Mitchell Coleman and Juniors Jude Marshall and Andrew Hoeffel. The Pirates have 4 freshman that are being looked upon to fill in key spots, Ethan Sullivan, Sam Newsome, Tim Shepard, Braxton Stegbauer. Junior Gavin Huff is also looking to earn a spot in the starting lineup. Elkins was first team all PCL last year.
The Pirates season started on Saturday with a trip to Patrick Henry.
