After the Thanksgiving tables are cleared and you have completed your Black Friday sales, Pirate faithful can gather at the Cove for the 2022-23 Boys Basketball season opener against Paulding on November 25. The Pirates follow that up with another home game against Lima Temple Christian on Saturday November 26. The Pirates start the road portion of their schedule on Friday December 3 when they go to Lincolnview. They open up their Putnam County League portion of the schedule on December 22 when they travel to Leipsic. The Pirates Christmas break has them traveling to Bluffton for the Bluffton Holiday Tournament on December 29 and 30. The Pirates come back from Christmas break with their first PCL home game when they host Miller City on January 9. The Pirates close their PCL season with a home game against Pandora Gilboa on February 16. The Pirates close out the season at home the next night when they host McComb for senior night on February 17. McComb replaces Wayne Trace on the Pirates schedule.
