The Continental eNews is proud to announce there are 40 registered sales on the roster of this weekend’s Continental Community Garage Sales! There are several signs around town (thank you Wollam Ag, R&B Meats, Continental EMS, and Walter Tucker) and ads placed in both the Crescent News and the Putnam County Sentinel. The sales have been boosted out on Facebook and fliers are posted in surrounding communities. The complete sales details/maps can be found on the eNews (some printed sale fliers are at Spit Ends, Clubhouse, R&B Meats, Ace Hardware, & Christ UM Church). We are hoping for a great weekend!
To keep up your energy as you go from sale to sale, Continental offers a variety of food & drink: breakfast or lunch at Post #541 American Legion (no membership required), a Salted Carmel Chai (or variety of coffees) from Bloomers, Mainstop for snacks and coffee/pop, Bob’s Carryout, Ryley’s, R&B Meats, Subway, and Clubhouse Pizza – all good! Don’t forget the lunch stand and bake sale at the Christ United Methodist Church on South Main Street – the UMW ladies are great cooks!
