Continental’s Sixth Grade students participated in the annual Renaissance Fair to celebrate the end of the year learning about world history. Students had specific jobs in their guilds to prepare for the fair. Each guild made a product to sell or trade such as bead work, masks, and broaches. The guild members were then allowed to barter, sell, and trade with other guilds during the fair. The students also shared with their family members some of the important information they learned about ancient history. Students also had an opportunity to practice shooting a bow and arrow with the help of an instructor from the Putnam County YMCA. Great work everyone! Pictured are some of the students with their products that their guilds made for the fair.
