A pair of Pirate Seniors earned Putnam County League first team award. Maddie Burke and Shelby Collier earned the first team honors. Earning second team PCL were Bryn Tegkencamp and Jensen Armey. Seniors Hannah Soto and Trinity Prowant were named to PCL Honorable Mention along with Ali Scott.
Ottoville’s Nicole Knippen was named Putnam County League Player of the Year. League Champion Miller City Kurt Rosengarten was named Coach of the Year. A very balanced PCL saw 5 of the 6 teams with a .500 record or better as Miller City was 4-1, Ottoville and Columbus Grove 2-1-2, and Continental and Kalida 2-2-1. Kalida represented the PCL in the Division IV Regional Tournament where they were eliminated by Liberty Benton in the Regional Semifinal game.
