The 8th Grade Lady Pirates hosted the Ayersville Pilots in the Continental Elementary Gym this evening. The girls came out strong with a 12-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Pilots were able to put 6 on the board in the second quarter for 26-6 at the half. Third quarter ended with the Pirates ahead 36-11 and the game ended with a Pirate victory, 44-15. The 8th graders are coached by Ben Schwarzman.
All the girls had points on the board with Alex Hoeffel leading with 15, followed by Addie Armey with 8, Kerri Prowant 7, Katie Keller 6, Kennedy Hiltner 3, McKenzie Rayle and Natalie Speiser each with 2. The 8th graders are now 2-1 on the season. The 7th grade girls added a loss to their record of 1-2.
