A new season and a new District assignment for the Continental High Girls Basketball team. Continental leaves the Archbold District and moves to the Van Wert Division IV District. Along with the Pirates moving from the Archbold District to the Van Wert District are Antwerp, Ayersville, and defending District Champion Wayne Trace. A new location for the District Van Wert also gained Fort Jennings, Delphos Jefferson, Kalida, Lincolnview, Delphos St Johns and State Runnerup Ottoville from the Ottawa-Glandorf District, and Division III Elida District Runnerup Crestview. Sectional games for the Van Wert District will be played in Defiance and Paulding. With 11 teams there will be 5 byes into the sectional finals. Sectional dates are February, 19, 20, and 23. District dates are February 28 and March 2.
Liberty Benton does not host a Division IV District this year. A host of those teams(6) now reside in the Ottawa-Glandorf District and that resulted in the mass reassignment of schools. The rest of the Putnam County League teams are in the Ottawa-Glandorf District. Ottawa Glandorf District Sectional games are held at Bath and Allen East.

Other notes from the North West District assignments. Division IV District Sites are Van Wert, Archbold, Ottawa Glandorf, Fostoria, Willard, and Wapakoneta. Miller City is a host for Division II Sectional games (Western Buckeye League less Ottawa-Glandorf + Bryan and Napeleon). Ottawa-Glandorf will play in Division III District at Elida.
