Continental High Soccer teams advanced to District Semifinal on Thursday and Saturday!
Girls Soccer
#4 Seeding held true in the OHSAA DIII Ottoville District as #1 seed Ottawa Glandorf moved forward with a win over #9 seed Delphos St Johns 10-0. The Titans come into the District as Western Buckeye League champ, ranked #4 in the last OSSCA DIII poll, and having last year lost in the DIII State Finals to Waynesville 1-0. #2 seed Columbus Grove advanced by defeating #11 seed Lima Central Catholic 3-0. The Bulldogs were the Putnam County League Champ. #3 seed Miller City advanced to the District with a shootout win over #4 seed Kalida, after a scoreless 80 minutes and overtime. #6 seed Continental advanced with a 2-1 win over #7 seed Coldwater, the 2021 DIII Ottoville District Champ.
The Pirates will match up against the Titans in the late game on Tuesday while the Wildcats and Bulldogs tangle in the early game. District Semifinal winner will match up at Ottoville on Saturday.

Boys Soccer
Headlining the DIII Boys Soccer field is Ottoville who is undefeated and ranked #9 in the latest OSSCA poll. The #1 seed Big Green defeated #11 seed Fort Jennings 10-0. The Big Green were not the Putnam County League Champs as that went to Kalida who was undefeated in PCL but had only 1 tie (Ottoville) in PCL play while the Big Green had a pair of ties. #2 seed Kalida took their Sectional semifinal over #7 seed Lincolnview 1-0 in overtime. The other team to tie the Big Green is also in the field as #3 seed Continental advanced with a win over #6 seed Ottawa Glandorf 5-0. Rounding out the field is #5 seed Spencerville who advanced over #4 seed Miller City in a shootout.
Ottoville will take on Continental in the first game on Wednesday and Kalida will take on Spencerville in the late game at Kalida. District Finals are at Kalida on Saturday.
