Continental entered the OHSAA Division IV State Volleyball Tournament as the #10 seed and lost to #6 seed Kalida 3-1 in a Van Wert District Sectional Semifinal. The Pirates finished with a 7-16 record. The Pirates were 0-6 in the Putnam County League. Leipsic was the Putnam County League Champion with a 5-0 record while Kalida and Ottoville tied for second place with 4-2 records.
Leipsic #2 seed ended up as the Van Wert District Runner up. #1 seed Crestview advanced to the Elida Regional and Tiffin Calvert and Hicksville to claim the Regional Title. Crestview was one of 3 teams out of the Northwest District to make it to the States (same as last year). Joining Crestview from Northwest Ohio at the State Tournament was New Bremen and Monoreville. Monoreville and New Bremen advanced to the State finals with New Bremen winning the State DIV title. The State Finals were held at Wright State University’s Nutter Center.
