Continental High School’s May 2023 Student of the Month is junior Delaney Bowers.
Delaney stands out at CHS because of her quiet ways of showing leadership. She is a focused student who is a dedicated, hard worker. Her teachers are thankful for her help planning the prom, working on the mock crash, and painting the plow for ODOT’s competition. Delaney is respectful to others and is quick to help classmates who are struggling with their assignments.
Delaney is a member of the National Honor Society, student council, and SCCLA. She is a cheerleader and plays volleyball for Continental as well as club volleyball. In the Continental community, Delaney works at Sundae’s and Split Ends Salon. She participates in Coffee with Jesus.
