Tigers Sweep VolleyPirates
On Monday night Continental High made the trip to Holgate for non league volleyball action. The host Tigers made quick work of game 1, 25-14. The second game was closer but also went to the Tigers 25-21. The Tigers completed the sweep 25-22.
Continental is now 4-11 and will travel to Edgerton on Thursday. Holgate is now 7-3.
Pirates Indians Tie in Non-League Boys Soccer
On Monday host Wauseon only took 1 shot on goal to the Pirates 7 but it went in and so did one of the Pirates. The Indians opened up the nights’ scoring by putting one in the net at the 16:42 mark of the first half. That was the only goal of the first half. The Pirates Konnor Okuley put in the equalizer with 22:52 left in the game. Jarret Keck assisted on the Pirate goal. That was the only goal of the second half. Pirates 1, Indians 1.
Continental had 7 shots on goal to 1 for Wauseon. Wauseon had 4 corner kicks to the Pirates 2.
Continental is now 5-4-2 and will travel to New Knoxville on Saturday for a non league game. Wauseon is now 1-5-5.
