Visiting Hicksville took advantage of winning all four quarters Friday night to take home the non league win at Continental. The Aces would score first only to have the Pirates Carson Etter of the Pirates match it for an early (and the only) tie, 2 all. The Pirates would follow up a pair of Aces baskets with a Konnor Knipp Williams basket and a Rhenn Armey 3. Pirates 7-6 lead. An Aces basket was followed up by a Knipp Williams basket. The Aces would take the lead for good with a basket to finish the quarter scoring. Aces 10-9 after 1.
The Aces opened up the scoring n the second quarter with a basket to take a 12-9 lead. A Knipp Williams basket would make it a 1 point game 12-11 Aces. The Aces would outscore the Pirates 8-2 to finish off the half. Knipp Williams would get a basket for the Pirates. Aces 20-13 at half.
The Aces would put in the first 5 points of the second half to take a 25-13 lead. The Aces 9 point run was stopped by a Carson Etter basket.
