Senior Kaitlyn Alvarado and Sophomore Alex Hoeffel were selected to the Putnam County League Girls Soccer First Team. The high scoring Pirate forward duo led the Pirates to a second place finish in the PCL with a 2-1-1 league record (9-9-1 overall). Alvarado ended her Pirate career by scoring 10 goal in her last 4 games while Hoeffel moved into second place on the Pirate all time scoring list and led the team in goals and points.
Juniors Riley Fenter and Sierra Prowant were named to the second team. Junior Brooke Davis, Sophomore Katie Keller, and Freshman Maddie Burke were named Honorable Mention.
Ottoville Kasey Kippen was named PCL player of the year while Kalida Coach David Kehres was named coach of the year. Ottoville finished tied with the Pirates for second with a 2-1-1 league record (12-2-2 overall) while Kalida was 4-0-0 as the league champion and was 8-4-4 overall.
