We have had a very good month of celebrating the good deeds and heroic acts of the youth in our area. Last night, we celebrated Barrett Rau with a National American Legion Auxiliary Youth Hero Award for getting help when his mother had a seizure in the early morning hours on January 11th. At the membership ball, we also celebrated Damien Dotson with a Youth Hero Award for saving a man from drowning from a four wheeler accident in Defiance. We were able to celebrate Reese and Parker Knowles with American Legion Auxiliary Youth Good Deed Awards for their good citizenship by helping Ed Bidlack with the local cemetery flag/grave marker restoration. Help us congratulate these great kids!
