We left 2022 simply awestruck by the goodness, power, and love of God. LifeWise in Continental was simply a concept last January and God made it all come together when we hit the ground running in March! The summer was spent with interviews to find the amazing teachers God created for our classroom, working on schedules, presenting the ministry, praying, meetings… the summer ended in July with finding our classroom. Then the next month we watched as numbers went from 50, 100, and all the way up to 170 students.
Last year 170+ students heard the Good News of Jesus and were gifted their own Bible! Questions were asked. Lightbulbs clicked on. Jaws dropped. Eyebrows burrowed. Tears puddled. Laughs bounced off the walls. Life came. Seeds planted. Hearts changed.
What a GREAT first year! You all jumped on board and made this happen. Thank you all for being a part of this Kingdom work! Let 2023 be a year that solidifies this program for years to come!
Volunteers Needed!
Did you know that it takes 4 volunteers (2 class hands and 2 drivers) to safely and properly run our LifeWise Program every day?
We run Monday-Friday, for less than 3 hours each day.
That means we need 20 people a week to run our program, that’s not including our teachers. If we don’t have a full staffed day, we cannot have class.
We needed to add a van to our fleet to be able to take care of the 170+ students we have safely, legally, and efficiently. We need 4 people daily to ensure the same.
Do you or someone you know have less than 3 consecutive hours a week to give to the Lord in service on Monday? Tuesday? Wednesday? Or Thursday?
