The Continental Lions Club are planning their annual Halloween festivities in Continental. Trick-or-treat will be on Thursday, October 26 from 5:30-6:30pm. Turn your porch lights on if you are participating. The Lions Club costume judging with entertainment by the Continental High School Band will be in the high school gymnasium at 7:00pm – everyone is invited! Per the school calendar, there is no school on Friday, October 27 due to the quarter break!
The Lions Club will have candy bags for all the children and cash prizes for the top three contestants in each age category. The categories will be: 0-2 years old; Preschool (3, 4 & 5 yrs old); Kindergarten; 1st grade; 2nd grade; 3rd grade; 4th grade; 5th grade; 6th grade; 7-12 grades; Groups (2 or more – can only be judged in one Class); Adults.
