On Saturday night the Antwerp Archers were in Continental for non league action. In a game that was tied with a minute to go, it was the Archers who prevailed by one. Early action went the Archer way as they opened up a 7 point lead at half, 17-10. A Pirate comeback was complete when that game went into the final minute tied 31 all. The Archers put in 3 points in the last minute to the Pirates 2 for the 34-33 Archer final.
Caleb Olds led the Pirates with 10 points. Nick States contributed 9. Reed Warnement and Mitchell Coleman both put in 6. Chris Potts rounded out the Pirates scoring with 2. Coleman hit two 3 point shots for the Pirates while States hit one.
The Pirates fall to 0-6 and will host Holgate on Thursday. Antwerp is 2-2.
