Archbold played host to Continental in nonleague boys soccer that saw the Pirates pick up win #9. The Pirates opened up the scoring with 28:18 left in the first half when Braxton Stegbauer hit the back of the net off a pass from Rhettik Bowers. Pirates 1-0. A little less than 4 minutes later the Blue Streaks even up the score. A defensive battle ensued the rest of the game with shots on goal being at a premium. The rest of the first half was scoreless. Pirates, Blue streaks tied 1-all at half. The second half had only 1 goal scored as Pirate Senior Rhenn Armey put his 102nd goal off a pass from Braxton Stegbauer with 28:59 left in the game. Pirates 2-1 final.

Konnor Knipp Williams picked up the win in goal for the Pirates as he had 1 save. Continental outshot Archbold 4-2. Archbold had a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Continental improves to 9-4-1 and will host Liberty Benton on Saturday in non league action. Archbold falls to 9-2-1. It was Archbold 3-0 in a half of JV action.
