Last Saturday (May 10) the Pirates traveled to Wayne Trace for the Division IV sectional semifinal. The Raiders hopped on the scoreboard first by scoring 3 in the first. Those 3 runs were all they needed in the 3-2 Raider win. Austin Mansfield took the loss on the mound while Derek Troyer led the Pirate hitters with a double. This turned out to be the last game of the year for the Pirates(3-15).
Thanks to all the seniors who saw their last action on the Pirate field and to the rest of the players and coaches for an entertaining season.
