
On Monday, Continental played host to the Ottawa Glandorf Titans in non-league baseball action. After a scoreless first, the host Pirates outscored the Titans 2-1 for a Pirate lead after 2. The Titans plated 6 in the third to the Pirates 1 to make it Titans 7, Pirates 2. The rest of the game was all Titans as they scored 11 in the fourth and four in the fifth while holding the Pirates scoreless. Titans 22, Pirates 3.
Bowers took the loss for the Pirates. Both the Pirates and Titans had 6 hits in the game. States and Williams both had a pair of singles for the Pirates.
Continental falls to 4-12 while Ottawa-Glandorf improves to 15-5. The Pirates are back in action on Tuesday when they play at Lincolnview.
