The 2025 Fairview High Baseball team advanced to the DVI State Semifinals and the 2026 version does not look like they lost a step as they moved to 2-0 with a big second inning against visiting Continental. After scoring 1 in the first frame the Apaches put up 7 in the second to take an 8-0 lead. The Pirates put a run on the board in the top of the fourth which the Apaches matched in the bottom half of the fourth. Apaches 9-1 after 4. The Apaches would 2 more to their total and end the game in the bottom of the fifth. Apaches 11-1 final.
Quinn Tegenkamp and Reid Tegenkamp both had singles for the Pirates offense. Rhettik Bowers took the loss for the Pirates going 1.1 inning giving up 8 runs (6 earned) on 6 hits and 3 walks. Pitching in reliever for the Pirates were Jayden Pitney, Haden Streicher, and Reid Tegenkamp. The Apaches had a total of 10 hits. The Pirates committed 1 error to the Apaches 3. Continental falls to 0-4 and will hosted Patrick Henry on Saturday. Fairview improves to 2-0.
