The Continental Blue & Gold Club will hold its January meeting on Wednesday the 8th at 6pm in the High School cafeteria. All are invited to attend. Discussion will include:
Scholarship Forms: The Blue and Gold Club offers a scholarship to one senior boy and one senior girl. To qualify, the student has to be the child of a current Blue and Gold club member. If your child qualifies for this please get an application from the guidance counselor. Deadline for this is February 15, 2020.
Reverse Raffle: The 2020 Reverse Raffle will be held on Saturday, August 1 at the Continental American Legion. Letters have been sent out to ticket holders from last year’s event; those ticket holders have first choice at the 2020 tickets. Pre-sale deadline is Wednesday, January 15th. After this date, tickets will be available to the general public. An early bird drawing will be held on Saturday, February 15 for three $50 cash prizes. Must be 18 years old to purchase a ticket.
The success of the 2019 Reverse Raffle helped the club to:
– Purchase a new tent for the soccer & track teams.
– Acquire new team chairs for basketball & volleyball.
– Support the creation of youth basketball leagues.
– Purchase equipment for teams and individuals.
– Offer the Blue & Gold Club scholarship.
