On Saturday, April 4 at 7pm, Melvin Goins and Windy Mountain will take to the stage at the Bluegrass Opry Barn in Oakwood. Melvin has been in the music business for over 50 years; started his career as a member of the Lonesome Pine Fiddlers and spent many years playing with Dr. Ralph Stanley. Come and enjoy an evening of mountain bluegrass music and homespun stories. The Bluegrass Opry Barn is located one mile north of Oakwood on State Route 66 and is a family-friendly venue.
