Continental Boys will attempt to play in their third Bluffton McDonalds Holiday Tournament on Wednesday and Thursday. Last year the Tournament turned into a pair of single games as one of the teams backed out of the tournament. Bluffton ended up playing Continental on the first night last year and Arlington the second night. 2019 was Continental’s first participation in the tournament which ended with the Pirates taking 2 losses. The 2021 tournament features host Bluffton (5-1) who currently co-lead the Northwest Conference with a 2-0 record. Arlington comes in with a 5-3 record and co lead the Blanchard Valley Conference. Cory Rawson is 2-7 (1-2 BVC). Continental comes in at 2-7 with a 0-1 Putnam County League record. First round games have Continental playing Arlington in the first game and Cory Rawson and Bluffton facing off in the second round on Wednesday. Losers will match up in the Consolation game and winners in the Championship game on Thursday. Good Luck Blue Pirates.
