The boil water advisory will remain in effect until at least Thursday. The electrical issue is being repaired this evening once the parts arrive to do so. However, this won’t allow us to do the necessary sampling until first thing tomorrow morning due to the lab being open. The lab will put a rush on the results but that still will put us into Thursday for the all clear. We understand the inconvenience this has caused to our residents and businesses and appreciate everyone’s patience. The new water tower will help alleviate many of these issues moving forward. For starters, it will have 50,000 gallons more compacity than the current tank. The other new component is the installation of a SCADA system which will digitally monitor our tower level, clear well levels, the well field, and other water plant real time data. This information will allow us to respond sooner and provide us with more time to prevent these such inconveniences.
