
Were you a Fall Festival Wiffleball loser? If you played on a team, you most likely were since there was only one winning team. Here is a chance to redeem yourself – get your team back together again for the “Volley for Vets” tournament this Saturday. Maybe wiffleball wasn’t your thing and you didn’t compete in that tournament, here is an opportunity to show off your athletic abilities on the local level. Bring your friends and family to cheer you on and get your game on for a great cause!
On Saturday, November 21st, the Leadership Group at Continental High School will be hosting a “Volley For Vets” tournament in the High School Gymnasium at Continental. The volleyball tournament will start at 11 a.m. Any age is able to play, and there is allowed six to a team. The cost for the team will be $18, or $3 per person. All funds from this tournament will go to the Wounded Warrior Project. There will also be pizza, 50/50 raffle, and a bake sale during the games. You can also support Wounded Warrior by purchasing a t-shirt for $15, there is a limited amount and these will be sold on a first-come first-serve basis.
Registration forms are available at Clubhouse and Main Stop and need to be turned in to the high school office by November 19th. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!! Help us support the Wounded Warrior Project!
