The congregation at Christ United Methodist Church on South Main Street in Continental will be hosting their annual Turkey Supper on Saturday, November 23 with serving starting at 4pm. The dinner includes: turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn, cranberry salad, applesauce, and coleslaw. The menu has stayed the same for 80+ years and the preparations have been tweaked over the years to take advantage of modern conveniences. The church’s tradition of offering a Thanksgiving meal to the community is still going strong!
Everyone is invited – dine in the church basement or carry outs are available in a trailer set up outside. Cost is by donation. Hope to see you there!
