The ladies at Christ United Methodist Church will be hosting their “1st Wednesday Lunch” on Wednesday, October 4 with serving beginning at 11:30. On the menu – Lasagna, garlic bread, tossed salad and dessert. Dine-in or carry-out, cost is by donation (all proceeds to our local food pantry). All are invited!
They are extending a special invitation to Senior Citizens! Many of you remember years ago there was a Senior Citizens Group in Continental. We would like to get our Seniors connected again. Lunch will be 11:30 – 12:30 with a time of fellowship from 12:30 – 2:00. A time to visit, chat, connect, play games (dominoes, euchre, Sequence, etc or bring your own game to share). Seniors will also be able to register for the upcoming Lions Club Senior Citizen meal on October 10 and Dupont Church of the Brethren’s Ladies Night Out on October 19th. Flyers with upcoming community events will also be distributed. Hope to see you all there!
