Everyone’s invited! The congregation at Christ United Methodist Church along with their families & friends are in the midst of preparing their annual Thanksgiving Dinner. This community tradition dates back for over 80 years. In July, the corn was harvested, shucked, cut off the cob and put in the freezer. The turkeys are ordered and this week they will be chopping celery, cranberries, apples and oranges for their homemade cranberry salad.
On Saturday November 17 at 4pm they will be serving (dine-in or carry-out) Thanksgiving meals: turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes & gravy, corn, cranberry salad, applesauce, cole slaw and pie. Cost is by donation. Come and enjoy this wonderful meal!
