The congregation at Christ United Methodist Church on South Main Street is getting ready for the Continental Community Garage Sales on May 8 & 9. All sale items in the basement are by donation, the funds go toward the UMW’s mission ministries. There will also be lunch available for sale – the delicious sloppy joe and turkey sandwiches and more! The women have cooked up 18 pounds of hamburger for sloppy joes and will make more if needed. The basement sale will start at 8:00 on Friday and Saturday. Restrooms available for the shoppers.
