Its Fall Fest time and the ladies at Christ United Methodist Church on South Main Street have been getting ready for it. They have cooked 39 pounds of hamburger into their “local-favorite” Sloppy Joes! It is a recipe they have used for several years and they consistently sell-out whenever they serve them at craft shows, community garage sales or Wednesday meals (God is good!). The Christ United Methodist Womens Group will have a food booth set up in the back of the EMS Building. The menu will also feature: Hot Dogs, Coney Dogs, Chips, Pop and Water – all at affordable prices for family dining. Carry-outs will be available. We are looking forward to serving our community!
