On Thursday, November 29 from 10am to 1pm tune in to Defiance’s Mix 98.1 for the best three hours of radio! H & K Chevrolet Buick in Continental will host their annual Christmas for Kids live drive. The school bus will be shuttling Continental’s Elementary Show Choir, HS Choir, Kindergarteners and other students to make their donations and entertain. Businesses and organizations throughout Putnam County also stop by bringing new, unwrapped toys or monetary donations. All the money collected in Putnam County stays in Putnam County. If you are in town, stop by H & K for the Christmas festivities. If you live far away, stream it – you’ll will be very proud of your hometown!
“Christmas for Kids” is a joint fundraising effort by the Herman Hesselschwardt Detachment #758 of the Marine Corps League and Mix 98.1. For the past 23 years, this campaign has provided Christmas gifts for children in the six county area of northwest Ohio. Nearly 5,000 children are benefactors of Christmas for Kids each year. Stop by one (or more) of our Live Drive locations to make your donation – either monetarily or with new, non-wrapped toys.
