The 17th annual Christopher M. Potts Memorial Golf Scramble will be held on Saturday, September 14 (always the weekend after Pioneer) at Country Acres Golf Club in Kalida. Cost is $65 per person or $260 per team and includes 18 holes of golf with cart, food, on course beverages, door prizes, par 3 contests, optional team skins game, and putting contest. Other events are door prizes, raffle, 50/50, team prizes, etc. Shotgun starts are scheduled at 7:30am and 1:30pm.
Chris lost his life in a car accident in 1997, less than a month after graduating from CHS. The Christopher M. Potts Memorial Golf Scramble is the primary fund raiser for the two scholarships awarded each Spring in Chris’ honor to a graduate of Kalida and Continental high schools.
