CHS Drama Department – Meet the Cast: Aubrey Noffsinger

November 3, 2025 by Adam Donaldson

As a seventh grader, Aubrey Noffsinger is no stranger to the stage.  Her prior productions include Tarzan, Godspell, Shrek Jr., Aladdin Jr., Finding Nemo Jr., and Madagascar.  The daughter of Darren and Miranda Noffsinger, Aubrey is also involved in 4-H and is an assistant for her church’s youth programs.  She believes in “by failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.”  Aubrey enjoys her involvement in the drama department because she feels like she is part of a family, she is learning to take a leadership role, and has learned that the show must go on, no matter your role.  In her future, Aubrey is considering becoming a teacher, a doctor, or a disability advocate.
May 10, 1994: A lunar eclipse’s path of totality sweeps across the United States, and Americans of all kinds look to the future for love, success, a first shot, a second chance, and more. In a series of sweet and hopeful snapshots, a teenager works up the nerve to talk to their crush, a window washer feels inspired by Romeo and Juliet, a Radio Shack customer discovers new technology, and an amateur investigator looks for signs of alien life. Each character is changed by the once-in-a-generation eclipse, a reminder of our connection to the cosmos and each other.
Eclipse will be presented at the Irene Casteel Auditorium on Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8 at 7 pm with a matinee on Sunday, November 9 at 2:30 pm.  Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and junior/high school students, and $5 for all others, and will be available at the door.
