Easton Niese is the son of Sarah and Brian Niese. This freshman is also involved in student government and the E-Sports team and volunteers for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. He worked backstage for The Miraculous Adventures of Edward Tulane, but Eclipse is his first role on-stage. Easton enjoys listening to Nickelback, Michael Jackson, Magic Dragon, and Metallica. He is finding he has a passion for theater and would eventually like to see his projects on the big screen, as a voice-over actor, or as a producer or director.
May 10, 1994: A lunar eclipse’s path of totality sweeps across the United States, and Americans of all kinds look to the future for love, success, a first shot, a second chance, and more. In a series of sweet and hopeful snapshots, a teenager works up the nerve to talk to their crush, a window washer feels inspired by Romeo and Juliet, a Radio Shack customer discovers new technology, and an amateur investigator looks for signs of alien life. Each character is changed by the once-in-a-generation eclipse, a reminder of our connection to the cosmos and each other.
Eclipse will be presented at the Irene Casteel Auditorium on Friday, November 7 and Saturday, November 8 at 7 pm with a matinee on Sunday, November 9 at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and junior/high school students, and $5 for all others, and will be available at the door.
