Dr. Michael Walls, formerly of Continental, is co-author of a new book; “On the Front Lines: Digital Convergence in Education.” The book will be co-published by the International Society for Technology in Education and published in five languages. ISTE is the largest educational technology organization in the world with over 100,000 members world-wide.
Walls is a 1960 graduate of Continental High School and has been a teacher, principal, central office administrator and superintendent of schools in Beloit, Wisconsin and Wilmington, Delaware. He also has had private sector experience as Senior Vice Present for Community Relations with MBNA America Bank, which is now Bank of America.
He is presently Chairman of the Board of Modern Teacher Press, a Chicago-based educational technology company focused on helping educators make effective use of technology and digital content to design and deliver effective ” blended ” instructional lessons. The company is presently working with school districts in 27 states and is growing rapidly.
Dr. Walls and his wife of 49 years, Judy, have three grown daughters and live in Newark, Delaware.
